Key responsibilities for this role include

  • Correctly records all forms, labels, and logs—both manual and electronic—for containers that have been processed in accordance with standard operating procedure.
  • As necessary for proper, secure operation, communicate equipment status and outages to the plant coordinator and process supervisor. assist with equipment operation and troubleshooting for maintenance personnel.
  • as assigned, takes part in operational, quality, and safety evaluations.
  • meets all regulatory criteria for Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plans (RMP) for the operation of the ammonia system and distillation processes.
  • after completing a 40-hour training programme, joins the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Be able to serve as the incident commander during the Plant Coordinator’s absence and oversee emergency responses up until their relief.
  • obeys all certification standards for process operators as well as any additional certification criteria imposed by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

  • GED or high school diploma.
  • Chemical handling experience of at least 6–8 years is necessary, or Manufacturing Technician III competency level or higher. Experience with high purity chemicals, semiconductors, or pharmaceuticals is necessary.
  • Must be able to maintain ERT requirements and receive ERT certification.
  • the capacity to comprehend chemical compounding and sampling and effectively explain results
  • Experience with sit-down or stand-up fork trucks for 6–8 years.
