Major Responsibilities
- Meat preparation and packaging must strictly follow Farm Boy regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Always uphold a high standard for product quality.
- Maintain accountability for the correct handling, operation, and upkeep of all equipment, as well as for keeping the necessary records.
- Ensure that all corporate policies and practises that are relevant to the continuing operation of the Central Meat factory are fully followed.
- Ensure that cleaning and sanitation processes are carried out in strict compliance with all applicable laws, as well as Central Meat policies and procedures.
- Make sure the right Health and Safety procedures are followed in an effort to maximise productivity, workplace safety, and food safety.
- Work as a team player by supporting and helping out your coworkers.
- Make sure the section is always maintained tidy and secure.
- On occasion, you can be asked to perform other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Usually calls for less than a year of relevant experience in a facility that produces meat, or an equal mix of education and experience.
- Superior hygiene, sanitation, and food safety requirements.
- Technical expertise with regard to meat production and machinery.
- Ttrong teamwork and task-orientation.
- When it comes to carrying out daily activities, you’re detail-oriented.
- Positivity and a track record of dependability and dedication.
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures to the letter.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, evenings, and afternoons.
Work & Sensory Environment
- Have to put on bulky protection gear or apparel while working.
- Lack of pace control brought on by various deadlines and/or tight time constraints.
- Knowledge on how to work in cold weather (2 to 4 degrees Celsius).
- Lifting, carrying, and/or handling heavy goods may be necessary.
- Required to work repeatedly for a prolonged length of time.
