Supporting global CKM logistics projects and efforts for continuous improvement is the responsibility of the senior logistics process and projects specialist. From conception to implementation, this person will be responsible for identifying, managing, and facilitating lean projects / programmes within the worldwide CKM logistics organisation. The logistics specialist is also in charge of streamlining current CKM procedures through the use of new programmes that incorporate digitally enabled innovations to increase logistics effectiveness and efficiency. This position reports to the Director of Engineering and is a member of the Global CKM team.
- Design systems and workflows for productivity enhancements and waste reduction through time and motion studies and business process re-engineering approaches by analysing global CKM logistics forward and reverse operations.
- In order to support new CKM process and system modifications, lead and drive IT and process change requests.
- Create the CKM logistics model to analyse costs and productivity.
- Monitor and manage CKM logistics project milestones, activities, scope, costs, deadlines, and project-impacting risks.
- In support of global CKM process standardisation and harmonisation
- Be a significant player in the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA projects for international CKM logistics.
Experience / Skills Required
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the capital equipment industry in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, preferably in a semiconductor or high-tech setting
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Green Belt, and Black Belt qualifications are all advantages.
- knowledgeable about problem-solving techniques (8D, 5W, TPM, Standard Work)
- powerful statistical and analytical abilities, including the capacity to use data to inform and guide decisions
- prior knowledge of creating logistics budgets and implementing cost overrun prevention strategies
- degree with relevant Knowledge of TMS and WMS features is expected, as as experience or a degree in logistics, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
- Proven influencer and change agent with the capacity to carry out numerous tasks across multiple geographies
