Major Responsibilities
- Assemble orders accurately for delivery.
- Ensure that all orders are stacked correctly and have the appropriate documentation.
- Make that the receiving system is correctly run, utilising the tools and resources that are offered.
- In compliance with approved Farm Boy regulations, receive, load, and unload all products, notifying the warehouse manager of any quality concerns.
- In order to ensure quality and freshness, make sure that the product is rotated appropriately at all times.
- Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and organisation of the storage facilities, cooler, receiving equipment, and reception area.
- Get rid of the junk you’ve gathered right away.
- Make certain that all drivers and suppliers are dealt with in a just and reasonable manner.
- As needed, carry out housekeeping and forklift tasks.
- On occasion, you can be asked to perform other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Typically requires working knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures, as well as up to six months of experience in a comparable business.
- Forklift operation skills and functional knowledge of the equipment and facilities used for receiving and cooling.
